Eco and Healthy School

Eco and Healthy Schools Board

There are 12 children on the Eco & Healthy Schools Board, 1 boy and 1 girl from years 1-6. The children who sit on the Board have been selected especially for the responsibility of stewardship in all areas of school life that affect our health and the wellbeing of the planet. They meet regularly to achieve this aim. Members are enthusiastic and are full of ideas to get the children and members of staff to lead a healthier and greener life!

We strive to achieve the Green Flag award of Eco Schools and the various phases of the Healthy Schools scheme. We share an office with the Child Board. We have our own email address, ecoaciach@ydderi.ceredigion.sch.uk, where you can contact us with any ideas or information you may like us to be aware of about health and environmental issues.

Governors with responsibility are:

Eco & Healthy: Helen Duffee and Jennifer George
